That’s a nice little adventure you’ve got there.
We’re a couple pretty regular guys. We have day jobs so we squeeze as much outdoor adventure as possible into the vacation time our corporate overlords allot us. That means we put a lot of thought into our trips, and we’ve started adding some creative twists over the years.
Our favorite adventures go beyond a typical backpacking trip. We like to go out far and get back to our car completely under our own power. Skip the hitchhiking, shuttling, or leaving a second car on the other end and replace it with packrafting, biking, maybe even a little running one time. Those kinds of trips are more fun to plan, more fun while you’re out there, and more rewarding when you finish.
Why the name Nice Little Adventures? It comes from one of our first packrafting trips where we hiked through Glacier National Park and closed the loop by rafting down the North Fork of the Flathead River. When we described our trip to some locals, three people independently told us “that’s a nice little adventure you’ve got there.” And we thought, that’s exactly what it is, and exactly how we like it.
We hope you’ll enjoy reading about our experiences, and we’d love to hear about your nice little adventures too!
